Some of the teams for the Canopy Piloting World Championships have started to turn up in South Africa. So far we've got over half of the British Team (including the guys from HEAT), half of the Australians (Michael Vaughan and Team Horizon), some of the Swedish guys and obviously the home team from South Africa.
Unfortunately we've hit some bad weather and are sat inside dodging the rain and waiting for the clouds to clear. This is a good opportunity to get over the jet lag though and the picture shows a competitor getting a bit of rest in a local store before we managed to check in to our accommodation.
The dropzone is super friendly and everyone's keen to help us out with everything from setting up tours to the local parks to sorting out legal building jumps. Fingers crossed for the cloud to lift now.
