Its 5:30 here at Skydive Spaceland and we've finished up the 2010 USPA Nationals of Canopy Piloting. The day started with the completion of the last round of Accuracy. Then after a changing the courses, we moved into the speed event. Downwind conditions from 3-6 meters per second translated into some blistering times. It looked like a new world record was within grasp, but no one managed to put up times fast enough. There were multiple runs in the 2.1-2.2 seconds.
The closing banquet will be tonight in the main hanger where we'll find out the overall winners. Here's a few more video's from the competition....
